Permanent Youth Services Clerk Substitute
Position description: Seeking applicants available to work weekdays, evenings and weekends as a substitute in the Youth Services Department, substituting for permanent staff members when they request days off. A YS Clerk should have enthusiasm for and knowledge of children’s literature and enjoy working with children and teens from birth through high school. Clerks help patrons find items or specific information, locate items and information through computer searches, and answer phones. Candidates should have strong customer service skills, technical proficiency in computers, and working knowledge of Millennium Circulation and SWAN catalogue system searching.
Qualifications: LTA or equivalent experience.
Salary: $10 per hour.
