On Tuesday, June 16th, we will begin offering curbside pickup service! This service will be offered three times a week. There’s a lot to know, so please read below:
Step 1: Go online and place a hold on the material you want. Initially, holds will only be available on items our library owns.
**Don’t have a computer or from outside North Riverside? No problem, give us a call during our curbside hours with your library card number and we’ll place the hold for you.
**Not sure what you want? No problem! Fill out this form, and we’ll pick some great ones for you!
Step 2: Wait for your phone call! We have dedicated specialists finding your materials who will call you to set up a pick up time and parking stall (look for the signs in front of our building).
Step 3: Show up in your time window, park at your designated stall, call us with your library card number and pop the trunk! We’ll deliver your new materials right to your trunk for you!
**Please note all returns will be quarantined for 7 days before being checked in and will not accrue fines during this time. Don’t panic when you see they’re still on your account!
**Not driving a car? Let us know when you get here that you walked or biked and we’ll put your bag of books just outside the door for contact-less pick up.
**Please drop all returns in our drop box or in the bin for over-sized materials. Librarians will not be able to take anything handed to them during this time.
