Read-to-a-dog is back! Our furry friends are looking forward to hearing stories from kids who can read independently. You may bring a favorite book from home or choose one from the library. Sign-up for one or more 15-minute time slots. Please register in advance online or at the YS Help Desk.

For children in 1st grade and up. We’ll read a short book together, discuss what we’ve read, and watch the film version as we snack. When time permits, we’ll also create our own interpretations. Limited to 10. Register online or at the YS Help Desk.

For children ages 12 to 36 months and their caregiver. Both children and adults will participate in songs, finger play, simple stories, rhythm sticks/shakers and group play. Registration is appreciated whether online or at the YS Help Desk.

Preschool Storytime builds pre-reading skills through stories, puppet play, games and 10-minute crafts. Open to children who are 3 by March 1, 2013 and up through age 5. For children who are comfortable in a preschool-like, peer-group setting. Registration is appreciated. Tuesdays at 10:30 am.
