A Struggle for a Dream: The Life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. famously stated in his speech, “I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.”  Today, Dr. King is not only known for his leadership in the advancement of the Civil Rights Movement but also for the vast social changes in our nation as well.  Historian Jim Gibbons will discuss the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., his strong non-violent beliefs, his turbulent life, and his tragic death.
