Teen Tech Week: Photo Scavenger Hunt


Picture yourself at the library and you could win a prize! Get your Photo Scavenger Hunt list at the YS Help Desk (lower level) starting March 8. The more clues you solve and photos you submit, the betteryour chances! Winners will be notified by March 18. North Riverside residents only.

Poetry Month: Poetry Hunt for kids in preschool through fifth grade.

Starting April 1, poetry will be hiding in the children’s area. Pick up a Poetry Month Hunt form at the YS Help Desk, and start searching! If you can find most of the hidden poetry, you will win a prize. North Riverside residents only.

Adorable dogs want YOU to read to them! Sign up for a 15-minute time slot. Limit of two time slots per person. Must be an independent reader. Bring your own book or choose one from the collection. Pre-registration is a must – space is limited!

RBHS Finals Week Study & Snack

For high school students. Enjoy beverages and snacks while you take a break from studying for finals. In the main floor meeting room, right next to the Young Adult area.

1,000 Books Before Kindergarten

For newborn through age 5. A year-round, ongoing reading program based on research that has shown that the more books children from birth to age 5 have had read to them, the more prepared they will be to learn to read. Upon registration, you’ll receive a simple reading log, a list of recommended books and more. Limited to North Riverside residents.
