Kidzmagic by Andrew and a Visit from Santa
What’s so funny about magic? Kidzmagic! You’ll be entertained and amused by CoCo Puffs and Bubbles as you participate in this magical performance. After the show, let Santa know what’s on your list! (Parents: photo-op alert!)

BBC Hollydays Gingerbread House Craft
Make a delicious and unique holiday centerpiece! All materials and instruction provided.
Cash or check deposit (per house) is required at registration – register in person at the YS Help Desk ONLY. Residents: $15 (library pays $20); non-residents: $35 (full price). Registration deadline is MONDAY, DECEMBER 8. BBC Hollydays requires children ages 6 to 11 to partner with an adult (age 18 or older), and children under 6 may not attend. Limit of two people per house.

RBHS Finals Week Study & Snack

For high school students. Enjoy hot chocolate and snacks while you take a break from studying for finals. In the main floor meeting room, right next to the Young Adult area.
Drop on by… Monday, Dec 15 through Thursday, Dec 18 from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m.

1,000 Books Before Kindergarten
For newborn through age 5. A year-round, ongoing reading program based on research that has shown that the more books children from birth to age 5 have had read to them, the more prepared they will be to learn to read. Upon registration, you’ll receive a simple reading log, a list of recommended books and more. Limited to North Riverside residents.
Registration opens Jan 2, 2015.

Winter Wonders Reading Program
For kids/teens in kindergarten through high school. Each week of this six-week program, if you have read at least one book that week, you win the weekly prize! Limited to North Riverside residents. Registration opens Jan 2, 2015; program runs from Jan 11 to Feb 21.

Children’s Theatre of Western Springs presents Stuart Little
Join Stuart, a mouse, as he ventures into the world with his human parents and big brother. Exciting and humorous entertainment, based on the well-loved book of E.B. White. Family program, all ages welcome. Please register online or at the YS Help Desk.
