DVDs Allowed In Book Drop
Following a trial period, the North Riverside Public Library has voted to allow patrons to return DVDs in the book drop on a permanent basis.
The $5 fine for returning DVDs in the bookdrop has been recinded.
Compact disks still must be returned only in person at the Circulation Desk.
Cell Phones, Headphones Disturb Others
 Just a quiet reminder: Cellular telephone conversation and music from headphones can disturb your fellow library patrons. Please be courteous and not use your cellular telephone or headphones inside the library.

Report Lost Library Cards
Don't forget to report lost library cards. Patrons will be held responsible for materials checked out and not returned by somebody using their library card. The fee for replacing a lost library card is $1.
Privileges Suspended When Fines Reach $3
The North Riverside Public Library Board voted at its February meeting to suspend the privileges of all library card holders living in the same household with any individual who owes the library $3 or more in fines.
