Birthday Club – New Prizes!

New prizes are waiting when you join the Birthday Club!  Stop by the YS Help Desk, in the lower level, during your birthday month, get your photo taken for the bulletin board and discover what’s new.  You’ll also be entered in our monthly gift card drawing.

We hear you!

Is there a book, DVD or other material that you would like us to consider adding to the collection?  Please drop a note to the YS department, or give us a call.

Children under 12 in the library

Library policy requires children under age 12 to be accompanied by their parent or adult guardian when in the library.  Recent news stories have made the YS staff particularly aware of the safety issues underlying this policy.

Adults with children can use the lower level Internet access computers.  These computers have most of the features that the adult computers do (including an updated Microsoft Office suite), but their Internet access is filtered.  Please sign up at the YS Help Desk to use one.

Reserving the Story-time Room or a Group Study Room

Hold your next troop, club or group meetings in the Story-time Room!  Use of this room is arranged much the same as for the Public Meeting Room on the first floor:  advance registration is required, along with contact information, and a damage deposit.  Group study rooms (max capacity: 5 to 6 people) can be reserved in person or by phone, and do not require a deposit.

To reserve any one of these spaces, see the YS staff.
