Support Your Library

The North Riverside Public Library only exists because of the support of our patrons and our community. We are able to provide our great services through the time and efforts of many volunteers, donors, and boosters. See below for ways you can help.

Gifts and Donations

We appreciate the support of our patrons. We accept monetary donations, materials, gifts and bequests.

Red-twig dogwood bush donors are recognized

The Library thanks those who donated to help defray the cost of 10 of the 16 red twig dogwoods that were planted along our boundary with the golf course. Specifically, Mary Lee, Lenora Giurini, Greg Gordon and Dina Giurini-Gordon, Jim and Marge Hook, Brad and Stephanie Lanken, Annette and Tom Corgiat, the Friends of the Library and CSA Lodge R.T. Crane Jr. The Friends of the Library and Lodge R.T. Crane Jr. each underwrote the cost of two dogwoods.

Library Foundation

Village residents and patrons of the village’s public library formed the North Riverside Library Foundation in 2009 to provide support for the projects, programs and other needs of the Library.

Volunteer

Volunteers are a valuable resource for the Library. Their energy and talents help the library meet its commitment to providing quality service to the public. Volunteers enhance rather than replace adequate staffing.

Friends of the Library

The purpose of the Friends of the Library is to encourage use of the library’s resources and services to their fullest extent, to stimulate public support, and to enrich the cultural life of the community.
